Mrs. Anila Denaj has graduated in Finance and Banking Management in 1995 at the University of Tirana and has over 22 years of working experience.

In September 2018, Mrs. Denaj was appointed as General Director of the Compulsory Health Insurance Fund (FSDKSH) in Albania. Earlier, Mrs. Denaj was a member of the Board of the Administrative Council of this entity, a member of the Board of the Albanian Social Insurance Fund and a Supervisory Board member of the Insurance Company's INSIG SH.A. For three years, Mrs. Denaj was a Member of the Board of the Electronic and Postal Communication Authority in Albania (A.K.E.P.). Mrs. Denaj has a long history of collaboration with the School of Public Administration (ASPA) as a lecturer on human resources and general management.

Earlier she has covered the position of General Director at the Ministry of Finance, with a focus on overseeing operations at the of Finance, Legislation and State Property Management, Information Technology Management, Human Resources etc.

Mrs. Denaj has worked for 12 years at the ProCredit Holding GmbH / IPC Consulting Gmbh, holding various leading positions in ProCredit Group banks in Salvador, Bolivia, Ecuador, Romania and Mozambique. In Albania she has held the position of Deputy General Manager of Procredit Bank (initially known as FEFAD).

She holds the position of Minister of Finance and Economy in the Albanian Government as of January 2019.
